VACANCY: DEAN OF STUDENTS AFFAIRS

JOB BRIEF: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Dean of Students Affairs to lead and oversee all aspects of student life, welfare, and development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive campus environment, enhancing student engagement, and ensuring the holistic development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies related to student conduct, discipline, and welfare.
• Coordinate student support services, including counselling, career guidance, and extracurricular activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive campus culture that promotes diversity and student well-being.
• Collaborate with academic departments to support student success and retention.
• Organize orientation programs, student events, and leadership development initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, administration, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and address student concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor degree in Mental health nursing or Psychology
• Master's degree is an added advantage
• Proven experience in student affairs, preferably within higher education or health sciences education.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement programs that promote student success and campus engagement.
• Knowledge of student development theories and best practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
