CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

UFS International is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide executive leadership and whole-school operational oversight, ensuring the organisation is well governed, financially sustainable, compliant and strategically focused. Position commencing January 2027

The role will include:

• Providing executive leadership and whole-school oversight, ensuring the Primary School, High School and functional portfolios operate as one coordinated organisation.
• Translating Governing Council strategy and decisions into effective operational plans, measurable outcomes and organisational performance.
• Providing oversight of finance, HR, administration, transport, facilities, sport and culture, external partnerships, risk, compliance and resources.
• Leading strategic development, stakeholder relationships, organisational improvement and long-term financial and operational sustainability

Skills and Requirements

• Relevant university degree and/or professional qualification.
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Significant senior management or executive leadership experience.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex organisations or operations.
• Strong strategic planning, financial and operational management experience.
• Experience working with governance structures, including reporting to a governing body.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, organisational and project-management skills, with the ability to lead change and translate strategy into measurable results
