ABOUT SBM PROJECTS
SBM Projects is developing the next generation of smart rural mini-grids. We are building a scalable Mini-Grid Management Platform capable of supporting multiple rural communities from a central control centre. To achieve this vision, we are seeking committed professionals to help us deliver clean energy solutions that make a real impact.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Assembling and mounting solar panels, ensuring proper alignment and securing them to rooftops or other structures.
- Connecting solar panels to inverters, wiring, grounding, and ensuring proper electrical connections within the system.
- Performing electrical tests to verify proper functionality and safety of the solar system.
- Diagnosing and fixing issues with solar panels, inverters, or other system components.
- Electrical knowledge, ability to use hand and power tools.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years working experience as a solar technician
- Graded Test Certificate
- Diploma in Electrical and Electronic or Certificate in Solar Energy System Design
- Two years driving license is an added advantage
